How Circuit Compass chooses topics, verifies technical guidance, labels testing and corrects errors.

Purpose and audience

Circuit Compass publishes practical technology education for everyday users and first-time PC builders. A guide should help a reader complete a real task, understand a tradeoff or diagnose a specific symptom.

Research and sources

We prefer primary sources such as device manuals, operating-system support pages, standards bodies and component manufacturers. We compare instructions with the exact hardware or software context and link relevant sources in detailed guides. Sources support the work; their wording is not copied into our articles.

Hands-on testing and claims

We only describe a product as tested or reviewed when the stated testing has taken place. Educational explainers use documented principles and manufacturer instructions and are labelled accordingly. We avoid fixed “best” recommendations when prices, availability or workloads would change the answer.

Accuracy and safety

Technical instructions are checked for prerequisites, data-loss risk and model-specific exceptions. Readers should follow the manual for their exact product, keep backups and use qualified repair help when a task exceeds their experience or could affect a warranty.

Corrections and updates

We welcome corrections at autobotgamer27@gmail.com. Include the article URL, the disputed claim and supporting documentation. We correct verified errors and update the displayed date when a change materially affects the guidance.

Advertising, affiliate links and independence

Promotional placements, including the GamingLand panel, are separate from our technology guides and are labelled as advertising. They do not determine article conclusions. Content pages include Google AdSense code. Whether Google ads appear depends on site approval and advertising settings; advertising does not determine our editorial conclusions.

Circuit Compass currently does not publish paid rankings or sponsored product recommendations.
